All Sun Garden Parasols use the same base whether you choose the sand or permanent base. Regardless of the year you bought your umbrella, either style of base is acceptable for your parasol. This sand base should be filled with sand or pea gravel. Please do NOT fill your base with water.

The Tray Base is the bottom part of the foundation of the Easy Sun Parasol. It is where the pea gravel goes when adding weight and is only available in Black.
*We recommend using up to 300 lbs of sand or pea gravel to fill your base as opposed to water. If you live in an area that sees freezing temperatures, the water inside can freeze and crack the base. Water is not as dense as sand, it does not amount to same weight and can evaporate over time. Please do not use sand.
